The Thousandth Floor By Katharine McGee

I think first I will give my opinion on the book as theres some things I want to get out there, my thoughts of the book have not left me all day so I thought I would share them.

First things first I want to talk about the actual blazingly obvious mishap with the book, they never real got into the nitty gritty explanation about the THOUSAND FLOOR BUILDING. There just wasn't enough information about the amazing building which made my mind unable to visualise most of the book. It was like they had glazed over the facts as if they weren't a part of the title of the book. I mean it's why I wanted to read the book, it's why I picked up the book in the first place.

Secondly it took until the last 100 odd pages to actually hook me and give me an actual plot for the book. When it did happen I was finally glued to the book that had taken me over a week to get through. The overall ending was a pretty okay plot which actually managed to bring my attention to the second book which I would probably by when released.

The book is about 5 or so characters life, living in the building that has a thousand floors. The main character is the 'perfect' Avery Fuller who lives on the actual thousandth floor. Literally genetically modified to look perfect by her parents. She has looks, personality, wealth, friends everything but the person she truly loves.
